Gambian forward Yankuba Minteh delivered another outstanding performance as Brighton & Hove Albion secured a 2-1 comeback victory over Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.

Minteh was central to both goals, first providing a brilliant assist in the 71st minute.

The winger cut inside his marker and curled in a superb inswinging cross for Danny Welbeck, who tapped home the equaliser.

Brighton completed the turnaround in the 84th minute after a swift counterattack sparked by Minteh.

He dazzled past his marker and unleashed a powerful shot that was blocked, but youngster Jack Hinshelwood reacted quickest to slot in the rebound for the winning goal.

Minteh’s influence stretched beyond the goals. He created the most chances in the match (4) and completed the most dribbles (5).

The Gambian international now has one goal and four assists in 12 Premier League appearances this season, continuing his impressive development in England’s top flight.
