Gambian music fans are gearing up for a major showdown this Saturday as rival rappers Hussain Dada and Attack prepare to face off in what is being billed as the “clash of the year.”

The highly anticipated event comes after weeks of rising tension between the two artists, sparked by Attack’s diss track targeting multiple musicians, including Dada, who quickly fired back with his own response.

The back-and-forth has since intensified fan excitement, setting the stage for a dramatic live battle.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Dada said Saturday’s event will be one fans cannot afford to miss.

“This coming Saturday is the big clash… it’s going down,” he said, promising a high-energy performance.

Despite the rivalry, Dada called for calm among supporters, stressing that the clash is purely entertainment. “Come and enjoy, but let’s avoid violence… at the end of the day, it’s One Gambia,” he said.

Organisers said the event, backed by Pajawara and Prince Empire, will feature strong fan engagement, including SMS voting for VIP tickets.

Both artists are also understood to be receiving significant payments, reflecting the growing popularity of rap battles in the country.

With tensions high and fans divided, Saturday’s clash is expected to deliver fireworks, both on stage and in the crowd, as two of Gambia’s biggest rap voices go head-to-head for supremacy.
