Former Gambia Football Federation (GFF) President Lamin Kaba Bajo has congratulated the newly elected GFF Executive Committee under the leadership of Alhaji Kemo Ceesay.
Bajo said the election was conducted in a friendly, fair and transparent environment following months of competitive but peaceful campaigning.

Having worked with Ceesay and most members of the new executive over the years, Bajo expressed confidence in their ability to successfully lead the federation and build on the legacies established in Gambian football.
“As your doyen and stakeholder in the game, I avail myself to you for any support in the form of advice and guidance for the continued development of the game in the country,” he said.
Bajo also renewed his call for unity within the football family, saying greater cohesion was necessary to advance the sport in the interest of stakeholders, players, investors and fans.
He wished the new executive a successful tenure.
