The Gambia Football Federation is yet to announce on its social media platforms or through any media engagement that the Scorpions will play an international friendly against Bolivia on October 4th.

However, the Bolivian Football Federation has officially confirmed The Gambia as Bolivia’s third opponent for the current FIFA international window.

The match is scheduled for Sunday, October 4th at the Estadio Ramón Tahuichi Aguilera in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, with kick-off set for 18:30 local time.

Bolivian reports had initially carried different possibilities for the third opponent, but the FBF has now confirmed the Scorpions as the opposition.

Interestingly, while the Bolivian side has already announced the fixture and even opened its accreditation process for the match, there has yet to be a corresponding public announcement from the GFF.

The Scorpions are expected to travel to Bolivia after their AFCON 2027 qualifier against Ghana on September 29th.
