President Adama Barrow has rewarded The Gambia’s U-17 team with D2 million following their historic WAFU Zone A U-17 triumph in Senegal.

The young champions received the reward during a meeting with President Barrow at State House, where they were recognised for bringing home the trophy and making the country proud.

The Scorplings have been celebrated across the country since returning home, and their State House reception marks another major recognition of their achievement.
