The Gambia’s women’s national beach volleyball team has booked their spot in the Round of 16 at the CAVB Beach Volleyball Championship 2025 in Morocco after a stunning comeback victory over Benin.
Despite dropping the opening set 21–19, the Gambian duo responded with determination, taking the second set 21–14 to level the match. In the decisive third set, they held their nerve and sealed the win with a 15–12 triumph.
