The Gambia’s 3×3 Basketball Team has booked its place in the final of the 2025 African School Games in Algeria after an impressive 19-16 win over Ghana in a thrilling semifinal clash.

The young Gambian side displayed grit and teamwork to edge past their Ghanaian counterparts, continuing a remarkable run in the competition that has captured the hearts of many back home.

They will now face the winner between Algeria and Nigeria in the final as they aim to secure the gold medal and make history for Gambian basketball on the continental stage.
