BST Galaxy FC boosted their hopes of a strong finish to the season after securing a hard-fought 1-0 away victory over Greater Tomorrow FC at the Box Bar Mini Stadium on Tuesday.

Mansour Mbye emerged as the hero for the visitors, scoring the decisive goal to hand BST Galaxy all three points.

The victory lifts BST Galaxy to 36 points from 29 matches, while Greater Tomorrow remain precariously placed on 31 points, just above the relegation zone.

At the Bakau Mini Stadium, Steve Biko FC were moments away from claiming a vital victory in their fight against relegation after Adama Dem gave them the lead in the 31st minute against Falcons FC. However, Ousainou Sarr struck deep into stoppage time to rescue a valuable 1-1 draw for Falcons.

The dropped points could prove costly for Steve Biko, who remains 14th on the table with 30 points from 29 matches. Falcons, meanwhile, move to 32 points and are not yet guaranteed safety.

In another crucial encounter, TMT FC and Hawks FC played out a 1-1 draw. Salieu Jallow gave TMT a dream start in the 23rd minute, but Hawks striker Sulayman Jallow restored parity in the 51st minute to ensure both sides shared the spoils.

The result leaves TMT FC in the relegation zone with 30 points from 29 matches, while Hawks FC sit just above the danger area on 32 points.

With only a few matches remaining, the battle for survival is becoming increasingly fierce. Bottom side Samger FC have 28 points from 28 matches and hold a game in hand over most of their relegation rivals.

Just four points separate 11th-placed Hawks FC on 32 points and Samger FC at the foot of the table, setting up a dramatic finish to the season.

At the top of the standings, Medina United FC continue to lead the title race with 48 points, closely followed by Fortune FC on 47, while Bombada FC and Gambia Ports Authority FC remain in contention on 44 points each.
