The Round of 32 of the GFF Men’s FF Cup produced thrilling encounters, late goals and penalty shootout drama as teams battled for a place in the next stage of The Gambia’s premier knockout competition.

At Basori, Medina United delivered a commanding performance to defeat Hawks FC 3-0. Adama Kanteh opened the scoring early in the second half before in-form Paul Colley added a quick brace, including a penalty, to seal a comfortable win.

In Yundum, Wallidan FC held Steve Biko FC to a goalless draw. The tie was decided on penalties, where Steve Biko held their nerve to progress with a 4-3 shootout victory.

Over in Soma, North Star came from behind to secure a 2-1 win against Suwo Kono FC. Lamin Badjie gave Suwo Kono an early lead, but goals from Musa Ceesay and a late strike by Sheikh Njie completed the turnaround.

At Bakau, Falcons FC put on a dominant second-half display to thrash Unique Global 3-0. Lamin Marong broke the deadlock before Muhammed Badjie and Dawda Jawo added quick-fire goals to wrap up the victory.

In one of the most dramatic matches of the round, Fortune Football Club drew 1-1 with Elite United FC in Brikama. Muhammed Gomez gave Elite the lead just before halftime, but Abdoulie Jallow struck deep into stoppage time to force penalties. Fortune went on to win 4-3 in the shootout.

Meanwhile, Gambia Ports Authority FC and Serrekunda United played out a goalless draw in Serrekunda East. GPA advanced after securing a 4-2 win on penalties.

The Round of 32 has set the tone for an exciting FF Cup campaign, with several matches going down to the wire.
