The Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) has asked the public to avoid doing business transaction with former customs officer Alkali Dukureh.

Dukureh (widely known as Dukz) was sacked from his customs officer role recently.

No reason was given for his sacking. However Dukz has faced allegations of impropriety.

In a statement, Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) said: “The Management of the Gambia Revenue Authority wishes to kindly inform the general public, especially taxpayers that Mr. Alkali Dukureh is no more a staff of GRA.

“Accordingly, we advised that our taxpayers and other stakeholders stop dealing with him with immediate effect; and we hereby warn that anyone who deals with him regarding GRA matters is doing so at their own detriment,” GRA said.

Gambiana contacted Gambia Revenue Authority to find out more details about Dukureh’s sacking.

Ousman Bah, spokesman for GRA, declined to comment.
