Kunta Kinteh Ferry was forced to dock back at Banjul terminal after collision with incoming Kanilai Ferry. 

The incident which happened yesterday evening shocked passengers.    

An eyewitness Musa Bah, a renowned teacher, who was on the ferry said: “we boarded the Kunta Kinteh Ferry and departed at around 1800hrs.

“Three to four minutes later it had a breakdown. We have just returned and docked in Banjul again after more than an hour around the docks.”

“The danger was that as Kanilai Ferry is here, they kept hitting each other and a lot of shaking ensued. This is getting out of hand,” he added.
