Gambian midfielder Mahmudu Bajo has officially signed for Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade on a permanent deal from Slovak side DAC 1904.

Bajo, who penned a four-year contract with an option to extend for an additional year, will don the iconic number 6 shirt as he begins a new chapter with the Serbian champions.

According to sources close to the deal, Red Star agreed a transfer fee worth €3.5 million to secure the services of the talented Gambian international.
