Bombada FC were held to a thrilling 2-2 draw by Falcons FC in an entertaining encounter, despite a brace from Nuha Sambou.

Sambou gave Bombada the lead in the 73rd minute after linking up well with Lamin Colley to break the deadlock. Falcons responded in the 83rd minute when Lamin Manneh converted from the penalty spot.

The penalty was awarded after Demba Manneh protested the referee’s decision, with the Bombada player shown a straight red card for dissent.

Despite their numerical disadvantage, Bombada regained the lead in the 89th minute as Sambou rose highest to head home what appeared to be the winning goal.

However, Falcons had the final say when Jusuf Ann Gomez struck in stoppage time to restore parity and ensure the spoils were shared.

Elsewhere, Sidat Trawally scored the only goal to secure maximum points for BST Galaxy FC in a 1-0 victory for BST Galaxy FC over Gambian Dutch Lions FC, sealing a memorable debut with his new club.
