
The Gambia were crowned Zone II U17 Indoor Volleyball champions after a commanding 3–1 victory over Senegal in a high-intensity final.
The Gambia set the tone early with sharp serves, solid reception and disciplined blocking to take the opening set 25–16. They maintained their momentum in the second set, edging a tense battle 25–23 through effective quick attacks and well-timed spikes.
Senegal responded in the third set, raising their tempo and capitalising on unforced errors to claim it 25–21.

However, The Gambia regrouped in style, dominating the fourth set with powerful hitting and organised defence to close out the match 25–15 and seal the championship in emphatic fashion.
The victory crowns an impressive campaign for The Gambia and underlines their growing strength in youth volleyball across the Zone II region.
