Thirty-three new coronavirus cases were registered on Friday taking the total Covid-19 cases in The Gambia to 3,473. No new coronavirus related death was registered. 

According to the Health authorities the new cases represented 17.0% positivity test rate and the median age of the new patients is 33 years.

The Gambia coronavirus cases are as follows: One person is in quarantine, 1415 active cases, 175 deaths and 434 probable cases.

Most of the active cases are asymptomatic and self-isolating at home.
