President Adama Barrow

President Adama Barrow has vowed to sack opposition supporting civil servants who are sabotaging his administration development works.

Speaking at a meeting during his nationwide tour of industrial complexes, Barrow said: “in my government, anyone I suspect to be sabotaging my development works, I will sack you and you will end up begging in the streets.”

Meanwhile, he added: “I want to tell the NPP supporters that you don’t have to be afraid because you form the government as President Barrow alone can’t do it all. Whoever insulted you and broke the law, you all should get up and stand firm and fight, and I will be behind you to provide support. There cannot be two presidents in a country. And from today until 2026, President Barrow is the President of The Gambia.”
