Tida Jobe, a Gambian social media comedian, has apologised to fans after her on stage humiliation during a concert over the weekend.

The comedian came on the spotlight after she was booted off stage by a Nigerian singer who goes by the stage name, Ruger, after the comedian attempted to grab a mic from him.

Ruger was upset by her intrusion and asked security to take the comedian off stage which was greeted with boos and jeers. The encounter sparked heated debater on social media.

But Tida Jobe told fans on her social media page that Kaddy Faye who brought the artist to the country to perform on stage finally stepped in to resolve the matter.

“I accept my mistake but the matter has now been resolved. It was my mistake for this unfortunate event. I was among the selectees to go on stage to Dance.

“And I attempt to get the mic to greet my fans who were cheering me up. But I realise that what I did was wrong, because you should attempt to take a mic from a singer on stage. But didn’t know this is wrong. And I apologise to all especially my fans,” she said.
