Gambian international wingers, Ebrima Colley and Yankuba Minteh, have made history on Wednesday night after becoming the first Gambian players to score in the UEFA champions league.

Ebrima Colley who plays for RB Leipzig pulled the string in the first 45th of the match against BSC Young Boys, becoming the first ever Gambian player to score in the European Championship.

As Gambians rose in jubilant celebration, Gambian wonderkid Yankuba Minteh levelled the score line for his Feyenoord who were a goal down against Celtic.

Minteh, 19, is also the youngest player to score for Feyenoord in a champions league match. 

The footballer has impressed since joining the Dutch side in loan from Newcastle who signed the player in the summer.
