Young Gambian talent Molamin Gassama has achieved a major milestone in Italy, helping Aurora Mazara secure the title at the Sicilia U17 Regional Tournament.

Molamin Gassama, an attacking midfielder, delivered an outstanding campaign, scoring 16 goals and providing 7 assists in 20 appearances to play a decisive role in his team’s triumph.

Molamin’s achievement is even more remarkable given his journey to Europe, during which he travelled across the dangerous Mediterranean Sea via the perilous “Back Way” in search of better opportunities.

Now rising through the ranks in Italy, Gassama’s story reflects both his footballing talent and personal resilience, marking him as one of the most promising young Gambian players to watch.
