I’m Gambia Ports Authority secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over defending champions Real de Banjul at the Live Your Dream Project Field in Basori, a result that sends them to the top of the league table.

The decisive moment came in the 20th minute when Bubacarr Sanneh set up Mamadi Chorr, who finished clinically to score the only goal of the match. The visitors managed the game well afterwards, holding their lead with a disciplined defensive display to claim all three points.

The win takes Gambia Ports Authority to 34 points, one point clear of Fortune FC and Brikama United, who are level on 33 points each in second and third place respectively.

However, Bombada FC, who have a game in hand, could move to the summit if they win their Monday Brikama derby clash against Greater Tomorrow FC.
