Gambia’s female team recorded an emphatic 2-0 win over Ghana at the inaugural ANOCA School Games currently underway in Algeria.

Hoja Njie and Mariama Sambou put on a dominant display, taking the first set 21-7 before sealing the victory with a 21-9 win in the second set.

The result marks a strong start for The Gambia at the regional event, which brings together young athletes from across Africa to compete and showcase their talent.
