Gambian international Ali Sowe has signed a three-year contract with Turkish Super Lig side Rizespor as a free agent.

The 31-year-old striker spent last season on loan at Rizespor from Russian club FC Rostov, where he impressed with 19 goals in 40 appearances, becoming a key figure in the team’s attack.

According to reports, Sowe’s new deal will see him earn €1.5 million per year, in addition to performance-related bonuses.

His permanent move marks a significant boost for Rizespor as they look to build on last season’s momentum.
