Gambia’s boys and girls beach volleyball teams have secured impressive spots in the quarterfinals of the ongoing ANOCA African School Games in Algeria.

On day two of the competition, the boys’ team delivered a commanding performance against Sao Tome and Principe, winning 2-0 with convincing set scores of 21-8 and 21-13.

The girls’ team matched their male counterparts with an equally dominant display, defeating Tunisia 2-0 to seal their place in the next round.

The victories mark another milestone for Team Gambia, whose young athletes continue to fly the flag high in this inaugural continental school sports festival.
