Ousman Jammeh was the hero for Gamtel Gamcel, scoring a dramatic equaliser in the 94th minute to cancel out Abdou Janneh’s first-half goal for DK Telecoms in the PURA Stakeholders Tournament final.

With the score locked at 1-1 after regulation time, Gamtel Gamcel held their nerve to win 5-4 in a tense post-match penalty shootout, retaining their title as champions.

As winners, Gamtel Gamcel were awarded medals, a giant trophy and a cash prize of D100,000, while runners-up DK Telecoms took home a consolation prize of D50,000.

The annual tournament, organised by the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA), brings together its stakeholders in a bid to foster unity, camaraderie, and sportsmanship through football.
