Buba Correa, the assistant coach of the highly flying Harts FC of Jarra Soma in the pinnacle of the Gambian League, is optimistic of his side winning the Gambia Football Division One League.

Hart FC enjoyed a thrilling 1-0 victory away against Fortune FC at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium thanks to Ismaila Saidykhan’s sublime goal mid-way into the encounter in the first half.

The Jarra Soma based club’s assistant gaffer, Buba Correa told our Sports editor after the nail-biting encounter that his side aims at winning the coveted League trophy.

“It is always our target to grab the trophy in any competition we are in. It is so unfortunate we couldn’t win the trophy in our first season in Second Division as we finished 9th position and in our second year at least we finished in the 2nd position. This year also our target is to win the trophy In Sha Allah.”

“The first round our target is to get at least 30 points before the first round ends but so unfortunately we can’t have that. We are also working hard to get the three points against Real De Banjul,” Buba revealed.

Elsewhere, Amadou Camara scored a last gasp winner for Hawks FC in a mouth-watering 2-1 encounter against Banjul United FC.
