Hussain Dada has responded to public criticism after he was urged to show sympathy following the stage fall involving rival musician Attack Gaye.

Attack fell while performing live at ST Brikama Boyo’s Teriya concert on Saturday night and was rushed to hospital, sparking widespread reactions online.

Speaking during a Facebook Live, Hussain Dada dismissed calls for him to express remorse, insisting his name should not be linked to the incident.

“We signing deals, bro. That’s the difference between me and them… It ain’t my fault, bro. I’m a trendsetter. I’m trending,” he said.

The musician said he does not understand why people keep tagging him in discussions about Attack’s fall, arguing that he is not connected to what happened.

“People come in here telling me, you need to show my mama remorse. I show remorse for what bro?” he asked.

Hussain Dada also accused some social media users of hypocrisy, claiming that when false stories were spread about him, many people entertained it without defending him.

“When boys were running around with my name, spreading fake news and lying on my name… y’all didn’t have a problem with that,” he said.

He insisted he would not change his position because of public pressure, adding that his career is not affected by online criticism.
“I’m not stopping… this ship, it ain’t sinking. This ship is sailing,” he said.

The comments have triggered mixed reactions online, with some supporting his stance, while others criticised him for refusing to show compassion.

Attack Gaye’s management, Tarkayi Entertainment, has since issued an update confirming the artist is stable and responding well under medical observation.
