Imam Bakawsu Fofana and his delegation have visited President Adama Barrow at his residence in Mankamang Kunda.

During the visit, Imam Fofana commended President Barrow for his peaceful and tolerant leadership, describing him as a unifying figure who continues to promote national harmony.

He said the purpose of the visit was to offer prayers for the President and the country, seeking continued peace, stability, and prosperity for The Gambia.

According to NPP National Women Mobiliser TV, Imam Fofana expressed satisfaction with President Barrow’s leadership and noted that religious communities across the country appreciate the progress achieved under his administration.

He also acknowledged the government’s ongoing development efforts in various sectors.

The meeting was held in an atmosphere of respect and unity, reflecting a shared commitment to national cohesion and collective well-being.
