Scorpions captain Omar Colley has helped Diriyah FC secure promotion to the Saudi Pro League after a dramatic Promotion play-off final victory over Al-Ula FC.

Diriyah sealed promotion with a 2-1 win in extra time after the two sides played a 1-1 draw in regulation time in the decisive encounter.

The Gambian international played a key role in the club’s successful campaign, making 32 appearances while scoring three goals and registering one assist.

Omar Colley’s promotion adds another major achievement to his career as the experienced defender continues to shine abroad following spells in Europe with clubs including Sampdoria, Beşiktaş and PAOK.
