The Gambia Football Federation Division One League delivered another thrilling round of action, with key results shaping both the title race and the relegation battle.

In Brikama, Paul Colley’s fine form showed no signs of slowing down as he netted the decisive goal in Medina United’s narrow 1-0 victory over relegation-threatened Samger FC. The in-form forward continues to be the difference-maker for his side.

Over on the West Coast Derby, Bombada FC edged Fortune FC 1-0 to complete a season double, thanks to Edrisa Jarju’s sublime penalty that proved enough to separate the two sides in a tightly contested affair.

Team Rhino staged a strong comeback to defeat Greater Tomorrow 2-1 after going a goal down, a result that further deepens Greater Tomorrow’s struggles as they slip into the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, in Jarra Soma, Hart FC returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Steve Biko FC, bringing an end to their five-match winless run and boosting morale heading into the next fixtures.
