Police in Bundung have arrested Lamarana Barry, widely known as “General Barry,” in connection with the motorbike accident that claimed the life of 19-year-old Tairu Barry on June 20.

The arrest, made early this morning following a tip-off, marks a major development in a case that has gripped the local community for months.

Eyewitnesses described the crash as devastating, leaving Tairu Barry fatally injured on the scene.

Police said Barry, now detained at Bundung Police Station, is cooperating fully with investigators to help piece together the exact sequence of events leading to the tragic accident.
