
Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a young boy who drowned at Fajara Beach.
According to reports, three boys were in the water when Red Cross volunteers and members of the public rushed to help.
Two boys were rescued alive, but tragically, one boy lost his life.
His body was recovered from the sea and pronounced dead at Kanifing General Hospital.

The deceased remains unidentified and is currently at the Kanifing Mortuary.
Authorities stressed that the photograph released is strictly for identification purposes. They thanked the public and Red Cross volunteers for their prompt response and assistance during the incident.
Police are reminding beachgoers to exercise caution in the waters, particularly during peak times, and emphasized the importance of community support in helping identify victims in such tragic events.
