President Adama Barrow today departed Banjul International Airport for the Federal Republic of Nigeria to offer condolences to the government and family of late former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari, who led Nigeria from 2015 to 2023, passed away last week in London, where he had been receiving medical treatment.

President Barrow’s visit highlights The Gambia’s solidarity with Nigeria during this period of national mourning.
