
The Scorpions of The Gambia have been drawn in a challenging Group C for the AFCON Pamoja 2027 qualifiers, setting up high-profile clashes against some of West Africa’s strongest sides.
Coach Jonathan McKinstry and his team will face former African champions Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana, while Somalia complete the four-team group.

The 2027 Africa Cup of Nations will be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, adding extra significance to the qualifying campaign across the continent.
The qualifiers are set to begin in September, with The Gambia aiming to navigate a tough group and secure a place at the tournament.
