
Sheriff Mankajang has officially resigned from his role as head coach of Greater Tomorrow FC, citing personal reasons for his decision.
In a resignation letter dated 14th July 2025 and addressed to the club’s Secretary General, Mankajang wrote, “With a heavy heart, I am tendering my resignation from the role as the head coach effective from today, Monday the 14th of July 2025.”
Reflecting on his time at the Brikama-based club, he described it as “more than just a job, it has been a journey filled with memories, lessons, challenges, and accomplishments.”

Mankajang stressed that his resignation was not linked to any problems at the club, saying “It’s important to emphasize that this decision is anchored in my personal circumstances and is in no way a reflection of any discontent or disagreement at the club.”
Mankajang thanked the club for its support and understanding, adding; “I cherish the time I’ve spent at Greater Tomorrow and remain hopeful that our paths might cross again in a different capacity.”
