Teachers from Region One, Region Two West, and Region Two East marked Workers’ Day with a peaceful and well-organised march past, beginning at the Brikama Police Station and proceeding to Brikama Upper and Senior Secondary School.

The procession was accompanied by a vibrant Scout Band, with the presence of the Police ensuring order and safety throughout the route.

Held under the theme “Stronger Together For Education And Unity,” the event brought educators together in a show of solidarity, highlighting the importance of collective effort in advancing the education sector and strengthening unity among teachers.

Activities will continue with a symposium at the school hall, where key issues affecting the education sector are expected to be discussed.
