The UNITE movement has handed over a fleet of pickup trucks to its regional representatives as part of its nationwide expansion efforts.
The presentation took place on Saturday in Fajara, following the opening of UNITE bureaus across the country and the election of regional leaders at the movement’s Congress last week.

In a statement, UNITE described the vehicle distribution as a milestone.
“Today signifies another important milestone for UNITE as we officially present and distribute a fleet of new vehicles to our beneficiary regions,” the statement said.
The movement said the vehicles are intended to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and improve coordination across the regions.
“This initiative goes beyond just providing vehicles. It is about bolstering grassroots mobilisation, enhancing coordination, and ensuring that our message and mission penetrate every part of the country,” the statement added.
UNITE said the deployment forms part of its preparations ahead of the December 2026 elections.
The movement is led by Kanifing Mayor Talib Bensouda.
