
The Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) has congratulated Colonel Bunja Darboe on his appointment as Defence Attaché to the Kingdom of Morocco, describing the move as a significant milestone for the military.
According to GAF, Colonel Darboe is the first Gambian military officer to be accredited as Defence Attaché to Morocco, reflecting confidence in his professionalism, leadership and dedicated service.
The appointment is expected to strengthen defence and diplomatic ties between The Gambia and Morocco by promoting closer military cooperation, expanding bilateral partnerships and advancing areas of mutual interest.
GAF expressed confidence that Colonel Darboe will make a valuable contribution to the work of The Gambia’s Embassy in Morocco while promoting the country’s interests throughout his tour of duty.
