
The Gambia’s Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs, Seedy Keita, is set to present the 2026 Appropriation Bill, also known as the budget speech, on Friday, 5 December 2025.
The presentation will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the National Assembly.

The Office of the Clerk of the National Assembly confirmed that the tabling of the bill is in accordance with Section 152 of the 1997 Constitution and Order 87 of the Assembly’s Standing Orders.
Attendance at the session is by invitation only. Invitees have been reminded to adhere to the standard dress code, which requires a traditional suit, and to maintain silence during proceedings.
The Appropriation Bill will outline the government’s planned expenditures and priorities for the coming year, providing a framework for the country’s financial and economic agenda.
