Gambia and Azerbaijan have signed an agreement to waive the visa requirement for diplomatic passport holders between the two countries.

The agreement was reached during a bilateral meeting between the Gambian minister of foreign affairs Mamadou Tangara, and his Azerbaijan counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov at the sidelines of the OIC summit in Banjul. 

Various bilateral and multilateral issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.

Azerbaijan and Gambia reaffirmed their commitment to bolstering bilateral relations. In recent diplomatic exchanges, both nations have expressed mutual interest in deepening cooperation across various sectors.
