Gambia have been crowned champions of the boy’s category at the 2025 CAVB Beach Volleyball U18 Continental Championship held in Abuja, Nigeria.

The Gambian duo of Ensa Bakary Kanyi and Abdallah Bah delivered a stellar performance in the final, defeating DR Congo in straight sets (21-19, 21-13) to secure the coveted continental title.

With this victory, Gambia has earned the right to represent the continent at the 2025 World Beach Volleyball U18 Championship scheduled to take place in October in Qatar.

The young pair will now shift their focus to preparing for the global tournament, where they will compete against the best emerging talents from around the world.
