Gambian Blade Runner Ebrima Jallow delivered a strong performance at the Kilimanjaro Marathon, finishing among the top 20 in the 5KM race out of more than 200 participants.

Ebrima Jallow, who is widely regarded as The Gambia’s first and only Blade Runner, credited his achievement to determination, faith, and the continued support from the public and key institutions, including the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Welfare and the Gambia Disability Council.

Reflecting on his performance, Jallow said “I’m proud to have finished among the top 20… This is just the beginning.”
