Gambian players were in sensational form as Manila Digger FC recorded a resounding 14-0 victory over Tuloy FC in the Philippines top tier league.

Leading the demolition was Pa Ousman Gai, who netted a remarkable double hat trick to take his league tally to 15 goals this season. Fellow Gambian forward Baboucarr Touray also delivered an outstanding performance, scoring twice to reach 14 league goals.

Midfielder Assan Badjie got on the scoresheet as well, opening his account in emphatic fashion, while Saikou Ceesay came off the bench in the second half to bag a brace and move his tally to 13 goals.

The emphatic win highlights the growing impact of Gambian players in the league, with four of them playing key roles in one of the season’s most dominant performances.
