
Fresh off spiking their way to a Silver medal at the inaugural ANOCA African School Games, Hoja Njie and Mariama Sambou have carried their winning momentum onto the sands of Nigeria.
The dynamic duo overpowered Zambia in straight sets in their opening match at the CAVB U-18 Beach Volleyball Championship, dominating play with powerful serves and solid defensive blocks.

The duo took the first set 21-7 and closed out the match with a commanding 21-8 second set.

This emphatic win showcases The Gambia’s rising strength in youth beach volleyball and highlights Njie and Sambou as players to watch on the African stage.
