The Japan government has donated 17 fleets of vehicles and 50 motor bikes and 130 Cold boxes and 49 Vaccines Freezers to The Gambia government.

The materials, worth $1.5 million, was donated through the United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) office.

“This item will almost address all the requirements programmes,” Dr Amadou Lamin Samateh, minister of health said during a handing over ceremony held at the Medical Drugs store in Kotu.
