
Jiboroh Upper Basic School emerged as champions in the Upper Basic School category at the Gambia Secondary Schools Sports Association Regional Athletics Qualifiers for Region Two East, amassing an impressive 252 points in Sibanor.
Their triumph was built on dominant relay performances, including victories in the 4x100m Open Girls and the thrilling 4x400m Girls race, as well as strong individual displays in the sprints and middle-distance events. Consistency across the track ultimately powered them to the top of the standings.

Kafuta Upper Basic School finished second with 225 points, highlighted by standout performances in the U-15 relays and impressive podium finishes in both sprint and 800m events.

Pirang Agricultural School secured third place with 204 points, buoyed by their 4x100m Open Boys relay victory and solid showings across several categories.
It was a fiercely competitive championship, with each school leaving its mark on a memorable Region Two East qualifier.
