Justice Ebrima Jaiteh, a presiding high court judge, has today dismissed  Sainabou Mbye and Co “no case to answer” submission. 

Sainabou Mbye, Cherno Mbye and Kimbly Dambelly are facing manslaughter and exposing a child to danger charges at the Banjul high court. They denied both charges.

Their lawyers Ida Drammeh and Sagarr  Twum made a “no case to answer” submission on behalf of the accused persons seeking their acquittal.

However, Justice Jaiteh has ruled that Sainabou Mbye & Co have a case to answer.

The judge ordered them to open their defence case.
