MP for Old Yundum constituency has raged against decision to cancel Inter- School sporting competition. 

Abdoulie Ceesay questioned who authorised the cancellation of the school competition when the football league was allowed to host games. 

Mr. Ceesay said he sees no sense in cancelling the school sporting events when political rallies and football games are being held across the country.

“I have not seen any release from the Ministry of Health restricting social gatherings. Who then authorised for the cancellation of [the] annual Inter – School competitions?,” the MP wrote on Facebook. 

“The football league is ongoing, other social and political gatherings are happening, why would you cancel the Inter-School sports?”
