Mayork Senior Secondary School emerged as champions in the Senior Secondary Schools category at the Gambia Secondary Schools Sports Association Regional Athletics Qualifiers for Region Two East, amassing an impressive 311 points.

Kafuta Senior Secondary School finished second with 262 points, showcasing strong performances in sprint and middle-distance events, as well as standout relay efforts.

Fatima secured third place with 240 points, rounding out the podium with solid showings across multiple track and field events.

Mayork’s victory was highlighted by dominance in both the 100m and 200m girls’ sprints, as well as powerful finishes in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays, underscoring a remarkable team effort throughout the qualifiers.
