Momodou Sabally has brutally torn into one of Talib Bensouda’s right-hand men, MC Cham Jnr, labeling him as functionally illiterate and unable to read or write in English.

Sabally’s attack on Cham comes on the heels of an escalating political war between the Talib Bensouda–led United for Change Movement and the United Democratic Party (UDP).

Sabally, once a member of the UDP, has since criticized Talib’s leadership as poor and incompetent.

In his latest attack, Sabally charged that the circle surrounding Talib’s leadership should serve as a warning for Gambians to reject his bid to lead the country.

“The likes of MC Cham Jnr show the calibre of government Talib would have for this country. Because those he appoints to council are functionally illiterate. MC Cham can’t read or write in English, that’s why he would never grant an interview in English,” he said.
