Dozen of passengers with their vehicles and goods are stranded at Barra ferry terminal as Kanilai ferry is stuck in the waters.

”The ferry can’t land. I don’t know when will we leave here. How many sick people should cross and how many people should be running against time while it’s stuck in the water,” one of the passengers said.

Another passenger added: “this is sad all what they do is talking fruitless talks all in the name of politics.”

Some passengers who have been waiting so long criticised the ferry operators for refusing to allow the Kunta Kinteh ferry, which is now the fastest ferries, to be fully loaded in Barra before leaving the terminal.

The decision caused discomfort for the dozen of passengers left behind. Vehicles queued for hours waiting to cross to Banjul.

This is a breaking news. More details follows….
